Account Manager Job Description

People First Finance is a California based Virtual Financial Services Agency that exists to help women business owners manage their money and their futures through high touch bookkeeping, tax planning/filing, and financial strategy. Read more about the company here (www.peoplefirstfinance.com).

We are looking for a friendly, highly organized and client service focused Account Manager who is interested in joining a small and mighty team. This role is paramount to our client experience and will be working cross functionally with the operations and accounting teams to ensure our clients receive the best service.

Responsibilities

● Your primary responsibility is ensuring that all done-for-you client accounting and advisory deliverables are executed on time and in accordance with company standards

  • This means that our clients feel supported and come to you first so our accounting team can focus on delivering stellar financial services!

● You will be the main point of contact for clients throughout the entire client lifecycle, from onboarding through weekly and monthly deliverable execution,and offboarding.

  • This will involve leading or attending client meetings virtually, updating and reviewing client files for completion, and maintaining our email turnaround time of 24 business hours

● You’ll work closely with the Accounting and Ops teams to constantly improve our systems, processes and workflows to provide an elevated and easeful client experience

  • We use Keeper to manage client financial deliverables and ClickUp to manage our internal operations.
  • Other tools we use are QuickBooks online, Google Suite, Dubsado, and Slack

● You will coordinate Advisory service delivery, tax planning and filings as well as special projects with clients and internal teams in compliance with our policies.

● Administrative accounting tasks, as needed such as:

  • Creating and updating client accounts in our systems
  • Setting up and updating software(s) with the support of our operations team

Required Qualifications

● Minimum 1 year of professional bookkeeping experience with Quickbooks Online, working directly with clients

● Minimum 3 years of high touch customer service experience - in any environment

● Experience working with Sole Proprietor, LLC and S Corp election business entities

● Remarkable customer service - you go above and beyond to be the best part of a person’s day

● Highly organized, with meticulous attention to detail

● Impeccable, professional communication skills

● Ability and desire to grow and take on more responsibility over time

● Can work as part of a team, and independently (this is a 100% remote position)

● You value working with a company that honors and prioritizes self care

● Familiarity with Keeper, ClickUp and Slack a plus!

Time commitment: 24 hours per week (Mon-Thurs), scheduled hours to be determined during hiring/onboarding process
Annual salary: $40,000
PTO: 10 work days annually
Location: CA Based - 100% Remote
