We are looking for a Part Time Associate Business Analyst in San Diego, CA . This role focuses on reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business processes, systems and user needs.
The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience necessary to:
Assist with reviews, analyzes and evaluates business processes, systems and user needs.
Assists in providing data analysis to support, compile and report key information for operations and business objectives.
Responsible to gather and document business requirements.
Performs and participates in the analysis, design and implementation of business and systems processes and procedures following appropriate standards.
Assist in analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the business and clients.
May communicate analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience.
Produces, publishes and distributes operational reports relating to the development and performance of products, processes and technologies.
Assist with conducting tests or test planning sessions, provides input for feasibility and prepares user documentation and follow-up evaluation.
Assists in resolving problems and improving processes or system processes.
Performs project management functions.
Other duties as assigned.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 20 hours/week
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's business, finance or a related field and some experience in business process analysis, gathering and documenting business requirements or other directly related experience.
Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and/or process improvement.
Some experience with project methodology.
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
