We are growing and are adding an Billing Specialist to our corporate support team in Marietta! Avionte experience is a huge plus!

MISSION: The mission of the Billing Specialist is to ensure that all customers are billed properly, accurately while following all internal policies.

Purpose of the job

The Billing Specialist is a key member of the team and plays a significant role in the accuracy and speedy processing of all billing activities. The individual must be able to pull information together from our internal systems as well as vendor management systems (VMS) and do a perfect analysis of it. Accuracy and meticulousness in performing tasks are also important to the work to ensure quality delivery and customer satisfaction.

Area of Responsibility

Actions/Tasks

Billing Reports

§ Ensure reports are balanced and records are properly maintained

§ Operate and examine billing reports to detect possible errors for correction.

§ Perform weekly and monthly billing processing.

Billing Compliance

§ Customer service support to our internal and external customers.

§ Audit billing information for accuracy.

Field Support

§ Respond to all billing related inquiries

§ Ensure all incoming and outgoing communication is addressed promptly

Special Projects

§ Support billing team with special projects as required.

Qualifications
§ B.S. Degree: Business, Finance, or related field.

§ 1-2 years’ experience in billing

§ Must be well organized, detail oriented, a self-starter with flexible schedule and excellent time management skills

§ Ability to organize work and carry out routine daily assignments without extensive supervision.

§ Adhere to strict deadlines

§ Strong ability to perform multiple tasks, prioritize assignments, and ensure details are followed in executing tasks

§ Great customer service skills

§ Ability to keep information with the highest level of confidentiality and apply utmost discretion

§ Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel applications.

§ Proven, solid Excel skills and exposure to multiple billing, payroll, and VMS systems

§ Possess outstanding problem-solving skills; written and verbal communication skills.

§ Prior staffing and hotel experience preferred'
