We are currently searching for a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Manager to lead our Building Information Modeling Department. Reporting to the Vice President of Construction, this position will oversee the strategy, process, modeling, and coordination of projects while working closely with the Fabrication, Installation and Management teams. The successful candidate will direct the work of the Coordination Team to support the effectiveness of the company’s Pre-Fabrication processes.

Specific duties include:

• Develop, update, implement, and maintain Coordination Workflow, protocols and standards.

• Oversee updates and maintenance of the Pre-Fabrication Schedule.

• Oversee deliverables to the Foreman in the Field, and the Fabrication Shop.

• Direct, mentor and develop assigned Coordinator’s within the Coordination Team.

• Assist with Process Improvement for Pre-Fabrication SOPs.

• Works closely with Fabrication Team and Management to ensure consistent improvements in the pre- fabrication process.

• Organize the coordination of all Building Information Modeling projects and assign to appropriate Coordinator to ensure quality output.

• Review and prepare Coordination/BIM Execution Plans.

• Attend all meetings for projects involving Coordination/Building Information Modeling.

• Access Coordination/Building Information Modeling scopes of work on projects based on contractual documents.

• Provide day-to-day technical support with respect to Coordinated/BIM drawings to the Pre-Fabrication department and field teams.

Experience, Capabilities and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

• Industrial and Mechanical Plumbing and HVAC design experience in the commercial construction industry.

• Thorough knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) computer applications, 3D design, and construction documents.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and Trimble.

• Experience in Bluebeam and Procore are preferred. Leadership Skills and Attributes

• Desire to lead an established team of Coordinators, with the ability to function as a production designer

• A quick learner who can rapidly embrace a new company, culture, and responsibilities.

• An ability to establish strong relationships and maintain alignment with leadership, employees, subcontractors and vendors.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
