As a Calibration / Metrology Technician you will be part of a diverse, professional and driven calibration Team in Fridley, MN. The Calibration Technician III is directly involved in the day-to-day activities of the task team including calibration, understanding the processes and systems that deliver quality product. In this role you will be part of a team providing calibration of test and measurement equipment in research, development, and manufacturing environments.

A Day in the Life

As the Calibration/Metrology Technician III, you will:

• Calibrate electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards.
• Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.
• Set up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Associate degree in a technical program or other technical training/certification.
• Experience with physical dimensional calibration
• Previous medical device experience
• Experience with GMP and GDP requirements
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate initiative and ability to perform as part of a team.
