Aerotek on behalf of its client are looking for Carpenters in the Olympia area

Job Description:

Candidates considered for this role will be responsible for construction and building out job site containers. Candidates need to be comfortable working with flooring, metal stud framing, and other details associated with being a journeyman level type carpenter. Candidates will need to be comfortable performing other duties that include, but are not limited to: demo of existing containers, clean up and preparation of interiors, other basic construction skills with power tools, hand tools, and saws (skills, chop, sawzall). Being versatile and having the ability to take instruction are key!

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

• 3+ years of basic rough or finish carpentry
• Basic blueprint reading
• High attention and awareness of safety

Like to Haves:

• Electrical, plumbing, or HVAC experience
• Previous construction experience

Work Environment

Candidates will be working in a large gravel yard with construction stations throughout the yard. Candidates will be working both inside and outside in the elements. Being on your hands, knees, and ladders are essential parts of the daily job.

Monday - Friday

7:00am - 3:30pm (OT available)
