Responsibilities of the Cash Applications & Credit Control Specialist Include:
Multiple organized individuals are needed to join our client in Ft. Lauderdale, FL As the Cash Applications & Credit Control Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate allocation of monies to customer accounts. This direct-hire role offers 40-45k/year based on experience
Responsibilities of the Cash Applications & Credit Control Specialist Include:
- Processing bank statements and updating matching rules within the system when applicable
- Inputting and processing daily cash receipts from statements, cheques and credit cards
- Performing standard cash allocations
- Refunding payments by appropriate method
- Resolving of all reconciliation items identified
- Participating in yearly audits.
- Performing preliminary Investigation and resolution of unidentified and unapplied payments
- Acting as a liaison with internal and external customers
- Managing the outstanding sales balances falling due and contacting customers to obtain payment before the event start date
- Providing weekly reports to the Business detailing current levels of debt
- Resolving queries in a timely fashion and collect aged debt with a view to minimizing bad debt provision
- Collecting monies owing from customers who have exceeded credit limits or terms to minimize bad debts
Requirements of the
Cash Applications & Credit Control Specialist
Include:
- Prior experience in a Cash Applications and Credit Control environment
- Experience using Oracle
- Excellenttime management skills
- Proficient skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
