ABA Centers of America provides ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy and diagnostic services to people with autism. We help clients and families in our centers, in homes, and in the community. Our company began with one person trying to get help for two young family members with autism. Now our goal is to bring ABA therapy to as many clients as possible. Our clinics are in multiple locations, and we are expanding rapidly but with careful attention to planning and resources. Client care is at the center of everything we do.

We have multiple clinic locations, and we're expanding, so timely collections are critical to our operations. The work you will do can make a real difference in the lives of our client families and kids by allowing us to open clinics where they are desperately needed.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a specialized team to collect money from clients
  • Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and invoices to minimize loss per company policy
  • Create strategies to increase successful collections on outstanding debt
  • Run reports and analyze data on collections and share them with executive staff
  • Implement credit policies and procedures to avoid excessive credit and maintain a smooth-running department
  • Develop goals that complement the overarching business goals of the company
  • Communicate clearly to clients about payments or documentation received

Education, Work-Experience, and Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance
  • 3-5 years of experience in credit and collections
  • Experience with CollaborateMD EMR and billing software programs
  • Ability to read Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and insurance correspondence
  • Willingness to submit to drug and background screenings

Expertise Needed

  • 3+ years experience in healthcare collections
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent managerial and financial skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strict adherence to deadlines and sense of urgency
  • Ability to manage high-stress situations and ensure healthy relationships with clients
