General Purpose of the Job: Lead the collections team across global regions to ensure processes are delivered effectively and efficiently while achieving department-specific and organizational benchmarks. Additionally, the Manager, Credit & Collections will act as a change agent to design and implement best-in-class processes while ensuring standardized, efficient cash collections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Explore ways to improve cash collection efficiency

· Approve credit recommendations provided to business units (BU) and any adjustments to credit limits

· Promote and provide exceptional customer service

· Conduct data and process analysis

· Achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction

· Perform and review bad debt calculations

· Develop and implement appropriate collections policies to maintain current AR and minimize bad debt write off

· Engage in direct dialog with customer-level contacts to resolve collections issues

· Perform credit risk analysis and collaborate with the sales and operations organization to minimize credit risk

· Collaborate with management regarding the AR process and the status of each sub-ledger, specifically around key customer accounts

· Continuously improve transaction processes in the areas of responsibility, implementing initiatives focused on standardization, quality improvement, and cost reductions

· Ensure internal and external audit controls are followed

· Ensure all functions are performed efficiently and take corrective action concerning poor performance

· Determine Authority Matrix interpretation and obtain leadership clarification where needed

· Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies through system and process improvements

· Understand and apply accounting principles

· Ability to effectively coach, give performance feedback and provide development opportunities within the department

· Manage and deploy resources effectively and efficiently to deliver services

Supervisor and Financial Responsibilities:

· Responsible for leading a team of 15+ collections professionals including members of the collections supervisory teams

· Manage bad debt throughout the global network and ensure they are correctly estimated as well as minimized

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

· Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration/Management, or another related field

· Five (5) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

· Prior experience in B2B collections and global collections preferred

· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
