Position Summary:
In alignment with regulations, policies & procedures, the Culinary Manager is responsible for the overall food service program of assigned community. This includes but it not limited to: hiring and management of food service team, department budget, ensuring quality, safety, and sanitation compliance in food preparation, and presentation and customer service. Additionally, supporting community special events planning and execution.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Enthusiasm for life and adding value to the lives of others
- College degree preferred
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred
- Serve Safe Food Handling certification
- At least 5 years of food service management experience including all phases of dining operations and service
- Strive for excellence. Previous leadership experience focusing on quality improvement and customer service
- Demonstrated and success in managing operating expenses
- Ability to delegate and develop others on a team
- Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities with success and find joy
- Great communication skills to interact with various customers in presentations, conversations, and writing.
- Ability to establish confidence and trust
- Desire to act as an owner in day to day decision making and problem solving as well as accountability
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Office and the ability to learn SBL specific software.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours to ensure quality customer experience during prime service delivery days and times.
- Valid Drivers License with good driving record
