Job description
Support outside sales force with custom design requirements through Custom Competence Center.

The ideal candidate is someone that understands the manufacturing process and has the ability to manage customer projects through our internal processes.

Technical knowledge is not required but an interest to learn will make the job more fun and the candidate more successful.

1. Acquire and maintain advanced level of expertise within companies software systems.

2. Review company processes and procedures regularly for overall department understanding.

3. Work in conjunction with Custom Specialist to support standard product or custom magnetics.

4. Assist customers with design requirements and ensure accuracy of information prior to submitting inquiry information to design engineering as needed.

5. Understand basic technical applications and capabilities to support new custom designs.

6. Actively and accurately document all customer activities in appropriate software for internal reference.

7. Build working relationship with internal and external departments and customers to influence new business opportunities.

8. Become internal resource for all custom magnetic processes and procedures or status updates.

9. Communicate customers design requirements with internal departments to ensure urgency and updates of timelines are met.

10. Relay critical customer information which may impact manufacturing or sales revenue and determine appropriate actions.

11. Initiate additional processes required to complete design requirements.

12. Support manufacturing requirements of unreleased product as needed for customer approval.

13. Increase sales through Creation of inquiries for custom magnetics. Managing sample process for both standard and custom products. Processing all quotes and orders within timelines. Follow up with internal departments to expedite customer requests. Prioritize responsibilities to complete projects by deadlines.

14. Ensure high-level customer satisfaction by responding to customer requests immediately upon receipt.

15. Travel to customers on a needed bases to provide support and build relationships.

16. Support customer complaints on custom magnetics with appropriate parties to find resolution of issue.

17. Review accuracy and enforce processes and procedures interdepartmentally.

18. Provide feedback to department and manager on assigned topics and tasks.

19. Assist with department training and meeting as needed.

20. Propose changes and updates to existing processes and procedures.

21. Create training guides or work instructions to support job responsibilities.

22. Continuously improve knowledge and skill to generate high quality level of work.

23. Support companywide projects and tasks with department to improve and highlight company's moto.

24. Serve as back-up to department colleagues as needed.
