The Cybersecurity Engineer develops, maintains and supports The Home Depot's technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components for small to large-sized projects. You will perform configuration, debugging and support for multiple infrastructure platforms on large-sized and smaller projects. In addition, you will perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery; create preventative measures and present to management. The ideal candidate can communicate complete technical solutions to business partners with minimal direction using understandable language; has the ability to manage time and work independently on multiple projects. They will have been exposed to various architecture review boards and contributed to deliverables presented at review boards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-3 years related experience.
• Retail/business experience a plus.
• Project leadership ability.
• BS Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency as a system administrator on Linux or Windows platforms, scripting and automation, familiarity with databases, and Agile life cycle methodologies. Proven proficiency of at least two continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• 25% Perform installation, maintenance, and support of system software and user support on small to large-sized projects.
• 25% Perform configuration, debugging, and support for multiple infrastructure platforms on small to large-sized projects.
• 20% Monitor and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved.
• 30% Perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery; create preventative measures and present to management.
