Data Analyst

Ware-Butler building supply is a company that relies on good data and hard-working local employees to create an excellent experience for every customer.

We are seeking an experienced, self-driven professional data analyst to work with our technology team in a fast-paced environment. This individual will work closely with our technology and marketing team as well as assisting at the store level with inventory, products, and accountability. The ideal candidate will be able to work both individually and in a team environment, have impeccable attention-to-detail, superb communication skills, and an understanding of inventory systems, logistics, ERP systems, and eCommerce concepts. This individual will work out of the Winslow/Waterville Maine offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and improve key measures and controls related to inventory and all other aspects of the supply chain.
  • Setup new products
  • Maintain current products
  • Implement product company-wide pricing updates
  • Ensure system data integrity is top priority so reporting can be accurate and meaningful
  • Develop custom reports using the ERP software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any ERP related data
  • Develop training manuals / standard operating procedure related to data integrity
  • Training, as needed, others within the system
  • Attend ERP seminars, training, and meetings as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required
  • A minimum of two years of experience in Supply Chain/Inventory/Systems/Operations is required
  • Well-grounded knowledge of inventory accounting principles is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis in Excel
  • Epicor ERP experience is a plus
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Ability to independently problem solve and present recommendations
  • Ability to collaborate well across multiple business teams
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines
