Data Specialist

FULL-TIME, Nonexempt : 30 hours

Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) seeks a talented Data Specialist to contribute their expertise in providing essential business services to our provider organizations and customers. The Data Specialist assigned to work on behalf of CCSI’s customer and will work to coordinate, gather, interpret, and visualize data from spreadsheets, websites and databases.

CCSI is partnering with Onondaga County Department of Children and Family Services to hire a Data Specialist. This position is employed by CCSI and working on behalf of Onondaga County Department of Children and Family Services.
In this role, you will be

• Developing engaging dashboards that clearly communicate outcomes to administrative staff
• Assisting departments in gathering and interpreting data from spreadsheets, websites, and databases
• Creating internal data tracking systems by leveraging existing tools, such as Excel and Google Sheets, for example, to create new data streams
• Preparing data in a clear and concise manner with the ability to summarize key findings and present results to highlight data anomalies and answer management questions related to provider performance
• Ensuring reliable data is maintained throughout the organizational systems by working with line staff to identify and remedy data inaccuracies discovered
• Monitoring departments’ performance outcomes and measures
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in health, human services, information management, data science, or a related field required (see CCSI's equivalency chart ).
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience, preferred

Pay: $50,000.00 - $53,250.00 per year
