Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

- Hiring, representation, retention and progression of Googlers
- Creating economic empowerment with supplier diversity initiatives focused on minority owned companies

A proactive approach to inclusion internally and in our products, will enable Ads to build a culture where inclusion is embedded and is a competitive advantage. This approach will strengthen Ads’ brand and our mission of connecting all users and businesses everywhere. We seek to invest in a full time Ads DEI Operations and Special Projects leader to ensure that an inclusive culture is given the right level of focus, visibility, and weight as any other priority within Ads.
Users come first at Google. Nowhere is this more important than on our Advertising and Commerce team: we believe that ads and commercial information can be highly useful to our users if that information is relevant to what our users wish to find or do. Advertisers worldwide use Google Ads to promote their products; publishers use AdSense to serve relevant ads on their website; and business around the world use our products (like Google Shopping, and Google Wallet) to support their online businesses and bring users into their offline stores. We are constantly innovating to deliver the most effective advertising and commerce opportunities of tomorrow.
