Spectrum for Living, a New Jersey not-for-profit organization, helps adults with developmental disabilities attain their maximum potential by providing quality Day Programs, housing and clinical services in state-of-the-art facilities and in the homes of families caring for a disabled loved one.

Available Shifts:

7AM-3PM AND 3PM-11PM SHIFTS FOR RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS

8AM-4PM ADULT TRAINING CENTER DAY PROGRAM

(Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekends)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Engaging clients in program activities
• Ensuring that all residents are clean, well-fed, and provided for at all times (this includes toileting, dressing, grooming, feeding, as needed)
• Providing transportation via company van
• Assisting with meal preparation, serving, feeding, and clean up
• Communicating information in a clear and concise manner for client(s)
• Integrating new staff members into unit activities
• Actively participating in recreational activities with client(s)

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid NON-PROBATIONARY NJ or NY Driver's License (Driving is required)
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodations)
• MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
