Job Description:
About the Role:
Helps to coordinate strategic growth activities across business units and the sales organization by partnering with the business, the business unit finance team, and sales organization to develop and implement a cross-business unit pricing strategy and oversee the customer request for proposal (RFP)/bid response process. This role is also responsible for ensuring the accuracy and alignment of pricing- and bids-related reporting, planning, forecasting and analysis with overall strategy.
- Develop and implement overall pricing strategy with input from strategy, procurement, and business unit finance teams
- Create, adjust, and maintain pricing standards and guardrails based on business objectives and priorities
- Govern the bid response process by establishing thresholds and guidelines, reporting on bid status, and facilitating weekly escalation meetings with key-stakeholders
- Demonstrate effective change leadership by encouraging constructive discussions and considering new ideas to drive beneficial changes for business success
- Lead and coach a team of up to three direct reports to continuously improve functional excellence, competency, and talent retention
- Lead special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests as required
About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:
- 10 + years of experience in financial analysis and data management
- Background in the CPG industry, manufacturing, or related accounting and finance fields strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in P&L management and thorough understanding of financial systems and general accounting concepts
- Proven success in establishing and maintaining strong business/finance partnerships with internal customers and peers
- Exceptional leadership, presentation, communication, and customer service skills and high emotional intelligence, enabling effective navigation of a matrixed organizational structure and cross-functional dependencies to successfully complete projects and resolve organizational challenges
