New Horizons Baking Company has been in operation since 1967. We produce ready to eat hamburger buns and English muffins for some of the most iconic brands. We currently serve over 2,000 quick service restaurants across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan and Western Pennsylvania as well as national retail and sandwich makers!

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Sales is responsible for the management, growth, and client relationships at New Horizons and affiliated brands. The role provides direction to the team to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, provide training and coaching New Horizons Brands sales and accounts team on effective sales strategies and techniques to build new relationships.
This role is critical to the organization, focusing on new business development, revenue generation, and targeted growth.

Future). The job responsibilities of our Director of Sales & Marketing are to:
- Lead the team to identify business opportunities, build key prospect relationships, negotiate, and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
- Provide regular forecast of sales opportunities and provide an accurate overview of new business pipeline
- Work with company leadership to devise sales strategies, forecast sales & revenue, and build sales department to expand our market share
- Develop sales/accounts team KPIs with the COO and hold the team accountable to meet/exceed those KPIs
- Develop policies and procedures to streamline sales functions and ensure consistency in quality and service amongst the team
- Coach and train the sales and accounts team on effective sales strategy so our sales team can target prospects, build relationships, and close deals
- Develop team skills in qualifying prospects, prospective client research, discovery calls, presentations, and speaking to decision makers
- Ensure the team is driving all aspects and stages of the sale including qualifying the viability of potential sales, delivering winning presentations, and managing the sales process through to its close
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of work experience in a leadership and departmental responsibility role
- 10+ years of sales or marketing experience
- Professional services sales experience
- Tech savvy (CRM, cloud, Microsoft Suite, etc.)
- Experience with B2B selling preferably with quick service restaurants and/or food and beverage industry
- Proven track record of consistent sales quota achievement
- Strong oral and written presentation skills for meetings and trainings
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize customer and company needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train team members and set expectations
