Dishwasher

Founders Restaurant at The Shaffner Inn

Historic bed and breakfast located in downtown Winston-Salem is looking to grow its amazing staff. The Shaffner Inn has retained historic charm while expanding to include modern amenities to provide a unique and memorable stay for our guests.

Job Duties:

• Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
• Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.
• Properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
• Changes water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions set by EcoLab.
• Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries.
• Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
• Maintains the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves.
• Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties.
• Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed.
• Display a professional, helpful, cheerful attitude and appearance at all times.
• Sweep and mop kitchen area after each shift and properly store all supplies at end of shift. (Mops, brooms, dust pans, chemicals, dish machine racks)

Pay Range: $8.50-$9.00 per hour

Work Schedule: M-F 6AM-Noon, Weekends 6AM-3PM

• Dishwashing: 1 year (Preferred)
