Cassens Transport Company/Marysville Releasing Inc. is currently in search of a hard working, dependable individual to fill a Dispatcher position at our Detroit and Sterling Heights locations. This is an entry level opening. Position requires the ability to work nights and weekends. Candidates will be hired on for a probation period, if the candidate fits the needs of the position, they will be hired on full time with benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401k)

Duties include:

Customer support and daily report preparation.

Ensure employee compliance of all State, Federal and Company rules.

Inventory Management and productivity evaluation.

Support terminal manager and operations supervisors as needed.

Supervision of workers in the field.

Applicants must:

Have an open schedule.

Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills are required.

Ability to work in a team-oriented manner with the capability to work independently.

Proficient with technology (computers, scanners, tablets, printers, smart phones).

Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

18 years or older.

Associates or higher preferred.

Maintain a neat and professional appearance.

Friendly and professional demeanor.

Previous supervisor experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
