Quartz Transportation is a drayage company which focuses on transporting cargo to and from the port of Long Beach and Los Angeles. We are seeking a first shift dispatcher to direct the flow of cargo directly to our drivers. You will be responsible for the following

- Demonstrate complete knowledge of the

several different intermodal terminals and depots in LA/Long Beach

various different shipping lines and terminal regulations

import last free days and export cut offs

- Communicate with our drivers in an effective matter while conducting the flow of cargo

- Understand and learn the various different appointment systems i.e (Emodal, YTI, FMS, Termpoint, etc.)

- Be able to problem solve effectively when cargo related issues arise such as delivery rejections or equipment return denials

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
