Job Summary:

Covid, Inc., a 40-year-old, Tempe based manufacturer of Audio-Visual Products, is seeking a Engineering Technician to join our team. This is a career opportunity for a highly motivated detail orientated individual.

Covid has been manufacturing innovative audio-visual connectivity solutions for almost 40 years. Markets that rely on Covid products include education, medical, corporate, government, and houses of worship. A variety of Covid products can be found in courtrooms, auditoriums, lecture halls, board rooms, patient rooms, and many high-profile government installations through the country.

Responsibilities

• Works with Engineering to develop and maintain drawings for product builds.
• Supports Engineering in all phases of product development.
• Develops electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Reviews, sets up and maintains items in company’s ERP system.
• Reviews, sets up and maintains product bill of materials.
• Reviews and releases production orders to manufacturing for build.
• Assists with the troubleshooting and repair of company products.
• Works with Production Departments to ensure that schedules are adhered to.
• Provide general support to engineering and production departments.

Skills

• Associates degree in Electronics
• Advanced electrical and mechanical skills.
• Must possess a high attention to detail.
• Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation.
• Experience in the Audio-Visual industry a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
