Ultra Clean Midwest is hiring experienced workers looking to advance their careers for its operation just South of St. Joseph, MO. Prospective employees will be trained to electropolish stainless steel pipe, parts, tanks and assemblies for use in the Pharmaceutical, Food Service and Animal Health Industries. People that have some experience with maintenance, mechanical, welding or electrical work would fit in well.

Excellent starting pay of 20$/hr which raises to 22$/hr after your first 90 days.

Position Summary:
Under moderate supervision, this position will electropolish and passivate formed metal products. Deliver electropolishing and passivation services in accordance with work instructions to ensure a quality product.
Electropolisher must be extremely reliable, willing to accept overtime, and willing to work as a member of a team.
Workers will have to maintanence equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, as well as possible minor building maintenance.
workers will need to be able to operate a torch.
workers will need to learn how to construct cathodes.
welding, maintenance, mechanical or electrical knowledge will greatly assist you in your day to day job activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Ensures electropolishing and passivation processes (quality, safety) are adhered to and not compromised.
Identifies non-conforming product based on visual and/or dimensional inspection criteria
Swiftly communicates quality and quantity issues to supervisors and/or co-workers
Documents in-process inspection results
Monitors and take appropriate timely improvement action to meet quality and quantity expectations
Monitors equipment to ensure that it is in proper working order. Performs maintenance and repair if required.
Maintains safety and good housekeeping standards as required by company policy.

Skills/Qualifications:
Must have maintenance/mechanical experience
Must have mechanical knowledge on equipment such as pumps, motors, compressors, air cylinders
Must have basic knowledge of electrical & wiring.
Must be able to accurately document processing notes
Ability to communicate effectively to supervisors and co-workers in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly, safely, without assistance or difficulty
Ability to climb stairs, reach and twist as needed
Ability to remain on feet continuously throughout the work day
High School diploma or GED Required

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
