Job description

Private ambulance services are hiring LICENSED AEMT's Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) as a member of a pre-hospital emergency care team. They will administer first aid treatment and other emergency care to the sick and injured persons and assist with transport to medical facilities. Qualifications:

-At least 21 years of age or older based on legal and contractual requirements

-Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions

-As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test

-MUST BE South Carolina and National Registry EMT or AEMT certified for this position

-Current AHA CPR/BLS provider card

-Current certified in EVOC or CEVO training

-Valid SC driver's license and acceptable driver's record clear background check

-Respond to calls from the dispatcher such as requested for medical assistance and transport.

-Determines the nature and extent of illness and injury

-Provides emergency medical care and other treatment pursuant to EMT certification

-Maintains all assigned equipment and inventory of supplies

-Able to lift 150+ pounds

-Maintains professionalism at all times and ensuring excellent customer service to the clients and their guest.

-Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting; may require computer skills

-As a condition of continued employment, employee must maintain current active status all required License at all times, and must carry the license at all times while on duty

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Keeping our staff and patient safe with the use of gloves, mask N-95, eye protection, and gowns which all will be provided, use of hand washing, and hand sanitizer use by employees, any all equipment will be provided by the company during work hours.
