ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

v Able to safely operate an overhead crane

v Weld GMAW spray transfer effectively

v Able to pass a GMAW certification test

v Operate a 9” angle grinder safely

v Properly read blueprints

v Replace basic consumables on a wire feed welder responsibly

v Maintain daily production expectations

As a production welder, you are responsible for ensuring the building members are welded correctly and cleaned before moving them to final inspection. Blueprint reading, Safe overhead crane operation, welding quality passes on structural members, cleaning the building members for final paint and transporting the welded product to the dimensional checking station are all essential duties to successfully welding on the PBS production line.

• Ability to stay on task, driven and accomplish daily and weekly deadlines

CERTIFICATES / QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient with a tape measure down to a 1/16 of an inch
• Must have a driver’s license
• Able to pass a UA
