Job Profile and Description

The Fabrication Technician job is all about using knowledge and experience to manufacture ETI products.

A range of duties will be assigned that draw upon and maximize your current experience & knowledge.

You will be expected to further expand your range of capabilities through hands on experience and on the job training/education. The position is based at the corporate offices at Extru-Tech, Inc., Sabetha Kansas. The position will work with direct supervision of the Extru-Tech, Inc. Fabrication Lead Man.

Job Requirements

• Mechanical Knowledge
• Capable of reading blue prints & job routings
• Capable of operating a forklift
• Capable of operating an overhead crane
• Capable of operating hand & power tools (Note: These items provided by company)
• Good communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Self-Starter & Self Motivated
• Ability to work with all departments within company
• Capable of lifting 50 to 80 lbs

Job Duties

• Fabricate parts to prescribed work order expectations (quality, efficiency & schedule)
• Operate saw, press brake, sheet metal rolls, drill press & laser
• Keeping work stations clean and organized
• Performing routine paperwork (time sheets, pick tickets, etc)
• Fabrication experience preferred (both CNC and manual)
• Work in a physically demanding environment
• Work overtime as needed to complete scheduled work load
