Job description
Makes decisions regarding hiring, discipline and termination, subject to the review of the site manager and Human Resources.
- Direct and Manage daily activities of all janitorial employees.
- Promotes quality Janitorial initiatives by conducting inspections; gaining feedback from meetings and identifying and correcting root-causes; enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service issues.
- Ensure that all work performed under his/her Management is done in a timely and cost-effective manner and in accordance with applicable codes.
- Establish, implement, and manage periodic janitorial schedules and procedures.
- Ensure that all facilities under his/her responsibility are safe and comply with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Manages Inventories supplies and equipment.
- Investigates and implements new and improved cleaning instruments and methods.
- Develops, proposes, and manages Special Projects and other related duties as requested and needed.
Experience
