Balanced Family Academy of Clintonville is looking for a floating teacher to assist in our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. The floater will fill in for other teachers during staff absences, vacations, lunch breaks, meetings, or just to be an additional helpful hand in the classroom. We work in a beautiful school with larch classroom sizes. We have one of the lowest child:teacher classroom ratios in Ohio and strive for 4 teachers in our Infant classrooms. Having the extra help in the classroom allows our teachers to have more time playing and interacting with kids. We are looking to hire several teachers to love and care for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months, Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00, 8:30 - 5:30 and 9:00 - 6:00.

Balanced Family Academy focuses on inspiring healthy lifestyles by providing well-balanced, freshly cooked meals that include breakfast, lunch, snack, and homemade infant purees. Our incredibly talented kitchen team not only prepares meals for the children, but also creates take-and-go breakfast and lunch items for adults and a weekly family meal available for purchase to all parents and to staff at a discounted rate. We also incorporate fun physical activities into our community offering physical activity classes for the children and additional adult yoga opportunities for parents and staff.
TEACHER SUPPORT
We support our teachers! A detailed Full Circle Curriculum is provided to teachers each month and is written out in an easy step-by-step format. However, we love when our teachers want to add their special touch to classroom activities and fully support additional creative ideas any teachers would like to add to the classroom fun. We have an onsite Curriculum Liaison whose sole task is to provide all supplies to the classroom and support teachers with day-to-day classroom activities. We provide an iPad for each classroom which is where teachers use a digital platform called Tadpoles to document each child’s day as well as pictures and videos.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
We are offering competitive pay starting at $14 that can be negotiated based on childcare experience and education. You can also choose to enroll in our wonderful benefits program that offers medical, dental, and vision insurance. After a year of employment, we offer a 401K program where we match up to 3% contributions. We offer multiple different bonus opportunities that include hiring bonus, monthly above and beyond bonus, referral bonus, retention bonus, and ongoing pay increases based on performance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Our workplace dress code is casual as we want our employees to feel comfortable being on the child's' level. We love showing our appreciation to our staff and frequently offer fun onsite staff activities such as Christmas in July and offsite outings such as Clippers games, moss art class, Pins Mechanical, and much more!
