Title: Food Runner - Turnberry Ocean Colony

Pay: $18 per hour + Holiday Bonus

A food runner acts as an essential point of contact for a Resident when dining at a restaurant. The food runner is responsible for making sure that the Resident enjoys their experience. This helps promote customer loyalty. A food runner is also expected to maintain appropriate standards for the establishment where they work.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greeting residents upon arrival at the restaurant
• Providing excellent customer service during their dining experience
• Carrying drinks and food from the kitchen or bar area to resident/guest in a timely manner
• Taking feedback from residents
• Cleaning tables following the standards
• Memorizing the food menu and wine list as well as any nightly specials
• Setting tables throughout the shift
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math
• Understanding of food safety and how viruses and bacteria can spread
• Familiarity with local food safety regulations and other laws
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
