Job Title: Snowsports Instructor (Ski and/or Snowboard)
Hours - Part-time “flex” model: On-demand as needed
Hours - Full-time model: 35hrs per week, 8:30 - 4:00pm Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon
Location: 621 Recreation Way, Frisco CO 80443
Typical Seasonal Schedule:
- Non-holiday: 35hrs per week, Dec 1st thru April 15th
- Thurs thru Monday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
- Tues-Wed: the hill is closed midweek
- Holidays: up to 50hrs per week, with overtime billed at 1.5x for any hours over 40+.

Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the snowsports instructor is to ensure that all lesson customers are 100% satisfied with their Snow Schoolers experience.
Requirements
- Must have legal right to work in the USA.
- Minimum level 1 professional certification (PSIA, CSIA, HTA, etc.) required; dues do not need to be current; non-certified roles may exist but will be at lower pay rates.
- Must have reliable winter transportation.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct beginner ski lessons at the Frisco Adventure Park in Summit County, ensuring a safe learning environment for all guests.
- Arrive at the hill by 8:30 am for every shift to ensure that lessons start on time.
- Deliver a high-quality lesson experience consistent with PSIA-AASI teaching standards.
- Establish shared goals of the lesson and develop trust with students.
- Present and share information, and check for understanding.
- Provide appropriate physical demonstrations of the 5 fundamental skills.
- Lead students through appropriate drills and skills through creativity and logical progressions.
- Assess students and their movements, providing clear verbal instructions and feedback.
- Provide specific and actionable feedback to students both during and at the conclusion of the lesson.
- Collaborate with the Snow Schoolers supervisor to resolve customer experience issues if and as they arise.
- Encourage students to return for additional group or private lessons to further their learning experience.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
