Job Responsibilities

As a Finance Project Manager , your primary responsibilities will include
  • Performs project management, design, and coordination of various finance projects with an emphasis on process efficiency
  • Collaboration with various departments and individuals both internally and externally to facilitate projects that include the financial function. Includes organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress.
  • Closely coordinate project priorities and progress including problem solving and risk management with all stakeholders
  • Determine and influence critical workstreams to achieve finance program objectives and corresponding milestones
  • Develop, document, and assist with automating processes
  • Project manage third party reconciliations and build out reconciliations via automate
  • Implement and manage merchant facilities to automatically charge clients
  • Manual processes to be automated via tech tools. Assess, implement, and execute control uplift for finance/accounting
  • Assist in managing the long-term strategy of building shared services in Philippines
  • Lead in automating and streamlining commission calculations and agent statements
  • Project manage to lead remediation activities, mitigate risk in AR, AP, and Financial Reporting processes.
  • Lead risk and controls activities to implement interim state controls have been set-up and are operating effectively
  • In-depth knowledge of and respective IT systems, security, and network structures
  • Ensure continued support of finance/accounting processes, as needed
  • Lead automation and efficiency initiatives, including the implementation and use of RPA technologies
  • Lead various components of financial application migration to SAP systems, including GL migration and training for staff, chart of account coding and migration, and other projects as needed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills .
  • A demonstrated sense of urgency to produce results.
  • Innovation and creativity - a problem solver.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while focusing on completion of the highest priority items in the shortest time frame possible.
  • Proficient with or able to quickly become proficient with a large set of applications, IT systems and security architecture
  • Any experience managing IT programs at the enterprise level is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, computer or comparable degree,
  • 3-6 years of experience in project management experience
  • Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office software, especially Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the handling of large data elements is preferred.
  • Previous experience in large ERP systems required;

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
  • SAP experience preferred
  • MBA preferred
  • PMP or Project Management Certifications is a plus
  • Any experience managing IT programs at the enterprise level is a plus
