The Quality Assurance Department is responsible for verifying life and health insurance applications directly with potential customers. It is a vital part of our Company’s New Business and Underwriting process. The information you verify and gather directly relates to determining whether the Company will decline or issue a policy.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maneuver within the Quality Assurance database and conduct appropriate assessments on what additional information or verification is needed
  • Ability to handle high volume inbound/outbound calls to potential customers including bilingual calls– verify and document required information to finalize applications for underwriting assessment in a call-center environment.
  • Accurately document the information
  • Properly document non-contact attempts within the Quality Assurance Database
  • Be able to properly explain the application process to potential customers
  • Accurately and thoroughly complete additional paperwork when needed
  • Maintain appropriate levels of communication with supervision regarding actions taken within the Quality Assurance database
  • Transfer calls to appropriate department as needed
  • Successfully meet the minimum expectation for the departmental key performance indicator (K.P.I’s)
  • Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift
  • Ability to work Full-Time and/or Part-Time based on the specific position for which you're applying

What We’re Looking for:

  • 1+ years of work experience in a high volume contact center environment, receptionist role, -OR- a role in which they commonly took calls on a daily basis (Strict Requirement)
  • Basic knowledge of Medical terminology required (strict requirement)
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Remote Experience Preferred but not required
  • Reliable internet connection (Must meet minimum 20 UPLOAD speed and must be a hard wired connection)
  • For safety reasons - It is required that you have or are willing to obtain a fire extinguisher to keep in your home
  • Quiet & Professional Workplace
  • Basic Computer Knowledge/Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm
  • Superior customer service skills required – friendly, efficient, good listener
  • Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must have open availability work schedule

Training:

  • 3 weeks long in duration, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST (does not reflect work schedule)
  • 100% Attendance Policy during training (No time off allowed during training - Missing time during training could potentially result in termination)

Schedule:

  • Currently hiring for FULL TIME & PART TIME positions
  • Hours: TBD (Must have open availability work schedule)

Perks:

  • $15.00 per hour (+$1.00 if bilingual in Spanish and able to pass bilingual assessment)
  • Eligible for Bonus Metric Pay based on performance:
  • Tier 1 - Extra $4/hr (Equating to $19/hr) - Can earn this tier starting from Day 1
  • Tier 2 - Extra $6/hr (Equating to $21/hr) - Can earn this tier once they’ve been employed for 7 - 11 months
  • Tier 3 - Extra $10/hr (Equating to $25/hr) - Can earn this tier once they’ve been employed for 12+ months
  • 3 weeks of Paid Training
