Here's what winning looks like in this role:

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Provide counseling on policies and procedures
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans, setting standards and expectations, as well as disciplinary processes
  • Develop training as well as development programs for all employees
  • Assist and guide in performance management processes
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
  • Assist the Controller in Administering the retirement and Health benefits
  • Process of all accounts payable invoices ensuring invoices are correct
  • Obtain approval for all A/P invoices
  • Process of weekly check runs
  • Communicating with vendors

Skills needed to win:

  • Proven experience as HR administrator or other HR position
  • Strongly self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office products
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • 1-2 years prior accounts payable experience
  • 1-2 years experience using Quickbooks
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • 2 years + of independent HR experiences

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work varying shifts including days, nights, and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
