Job Overview

The Human Resources Manager provides administrative and services support to line managers and employees at multiple sites. The position will be based at PGT Ellisville, MI and will report to the Sr. HR Manager, PGT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs HR related administrative tasks and procedures as defined by HR Function and Line Managers
  • Resolve pay and benefit queries
  • Facilitate disciplinary and investigation processes
  • Onboard new employees and conduct new hire orientation at designated facilities
  • Provide support to operations leaders in mandatory Training tracking/implementation
  • Assists with Skills matrix tracking and coordination with Operations Team
  • Participate in monthly Town-Hall meetings with HR relevant information/communication flow-down
  • Assist plant leadership with employee engagement activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business
  • 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist/ HR Manager role
  • Experience in a Manufacturing/Operations environment
  • Prior experience using HRIS systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Human Resources degree concentration
