Job Description

· Professionally manage incoming customer calls, obtaining necessary customer information, and ensuring inquiries are resolved promptly and thoroughly.

· Execute all aspects of the sales function including order entry, purchase orders, payment processing, quotes, and delivery dates.

· Initiate outgoing sales calls to customers with potential sales opportunities.

· Recommend products based on cost, availability or specifications needed.

· Assist will-call customers and retail store counter-sales.

· Provide clear and accurate information to customers on products and services in-person, by email, or phone.

· Daily processing of cash reconciliation as well as other end of day business items.

· Utilize warehouse equipment including manual lifts, reach trucks, and forklifts (requires applicable safety and operational training).

· Accurately pull orders from inventory to fill customer orders and transfers.

· Accurately receive inventory, verifying the contents and counts against packing slips.

· Unload, move and store materials according to manufacturer requirements.

· Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts.

· Prepare freight BOL paperwork and contact freight carriers for pickups.

· Prepare and ship orders via UPS, Speedee, etc.

Experience and Qualifications

· Familiar with the HVAC industry is a plus.

· Safely operate in a warehouse environment.

· Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Strong listening skills and attention to detail.

· Willingness to be trained.

· Experience in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and have the ability to learn how to use our ERP system.

· Solid math and analytical skills.

· High attention to detail and organization skills.

· Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers and employees.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills including phone, computer, speaking and listening.

· Ability to plan, problem solve, reason, and prioritize.

· Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,579.00 - $50,226.00 per year
