Job description
Are you an experienced, positive Infant/Toddler Teacher who loves to see your students engage in authentic learning? Do you want the freedom to use your passions and teaching strengths to make decisions for your classroom, while receiving support from your Director? If so, we want to chat with you about joining the KDA Infant/Toddler Team!
The full-time position includes medical/dental benefits, a very generous paid-time off plan, paid continuing education, 7 paid holidays, 2 In-Service Days and a great team environment. For instance, we provide morning/afternoon breaks as well as lunches. There is also an opportunity for a $300, 90 Day Performance/Attendance Bonus.
The part-time position can be about 15-25 hours a week with being open to cover a random full day if needed. The part time position typically assists with one or more of the following time frames: 7:00am to help with opening the school, 11:30am to help cover Teacher lunches during naptime, or 2:30pm to help close the school. Part-time shifts remain mostly consistent depending upon student attendance.
For Teachers: we will provide a curriculum that is easily modified to fit the specific group of students, which gives you the freedom to plan activities that choose to support YOUR class! We believe that if our Teachers are excited about activities for their class, that is when students learn best and strong relationships are developed.
A few things that get us excited - using loose parts in hands on math and literacy activities, respecting each individual student for their own personality and development, and having a coaching/mentoring based relationship with each other. If these things resonate with your teaching style, KDA may be a good fit for you.

*Able to positively and clearly document learning and events of the student's day on the classroom tablet.
*Experienced in teaching appropriate skills through activities instead of worksheets
