BP3 gives people faster ways to get things done. We streamline and automate the processes that drive everything from customer experience to employee productivity.

About the Role

We are seeking an Interaction Designer to design enterprise business applications that meet business owner’s and end-user’s needs. You should possess the ability to comprehend business requirements and technical limitations, as well as the ability to take data from user research and translate it into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.

A deep understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies, enterprise software, and working with complex experiences is a requirement. Success in the role requires an innovative mind, good leadership skills, and a passion for creating user interfaces that provides an exceptional user experience. Individuals in this role must be user-focused, analytical, highly creative, and have strong verbal and written communication skills. A strong portfolio of successful Interaction Designer/UX projects is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision. One of our clients just asked for a “world-class user experience.”
  • Facilitate Design Sprints or other UX style workshops with team and clients to gather requirements, form alignment, and generate buy-in.
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to customer vision and priorities.
  • Work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications, and articulating design decisions back to client and team.
  • Serve as a customer advocate to ensure the highest level of usefulness, usability and customer satisfaction.
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • Work closely with development and business teams, converting skeptics into UX advocates.
  • Authoritatively and intelligently iterate on designs, adjusting to technical requirements and incorporating usability improvements.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field
  • 2 or more years of Interaction Designer/UX design experience, including interaction design and information architecture work. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex applications for enterprise users.
  • Strong portfolio of completed design projects.
  • Expertise in Sketch or other standard UX software such as Figma, InVision, Adobe XD and the like is a must.
  • Experience creating or applying visual design and familiarity with tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Basic HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and systems architecture skills are a plus.
  • Experience in applying Interaction Designer/UX design best practices.
  • Experience working on Agile teams and the ability to evangelize Agile UX to team members.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as handling multiple projects at the same time.
  • You take your work seriously but not yourself: You’re easy to get along with, work well as part of a team, and take and provide constructive criticism to achieve the best results.
