QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
A multi-faceted company wholesaler and retailer seeks an experienced quality control inspector. Must be experienced in supply chain warehouse procedures and functionalities. Candidate will work closely with manufacturing partners and vendors ensuring product consistency and accuracy.
QUALITY CONTROL RESPONSBILITIES
- Perform daily quality control inspections including assessments of all incoming vendor shipments for damage and product control.
- Communicates effectively with Warehouse Management team on standard operating procedures for all inbound loads.
- Communicates with domestic and international vendors ensuring product accuracy.
- Troubleshoots all quality control issues with vendors including replacement.
- Run and maintain weekly and monthly reports updating company executives
- Ability to assess, maintain accountability and collaboration of products.
- Approve or Reject Orders based on QC Operating Procedures
- Strive for continuous improvement to quality control processes.
Requirements
Minimum Associate Degree Required / Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quality Control Warehouse Experience
- Demonstrated time management, ability to be flexible and strong organizational skills, including an ability to plan and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Previous experience with customer service/vendor purchasing preferred
- Experience with both domestic and international customers desired
- Experience with maintaining quality control analysis and resolutions needed
- Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to communicate with professionalism
