A utility client is looking for an Inventory Specialist who will be doing warehouse work, light buying, and other areas such as fleet and facilities.

Location: Litchfield Park, AZ 85340
Position: Inventory Specialist
Pay Rate: $22 to $25/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 12 months or longer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Learn JDE Inventory Mgmt.
  • Cycle Count processing.
  • Secure, man, and be available in the stockroom from M-F from 7:00 – 4:30
  • Issue requested material via completed “Inventory Withdrawal Slips”.
  • Relieve the inventory in SAP.
  • Sign for and receive material deliveries.
  • Contact and drop FedEx and UPS deliveries to the contact person.
  • Input delivery in the SAP, print PO, and forward docs to finance for batching.
  • Upon docs return, return forward completed batch to A/P.
  • Process scheduled cycle counts daily and enter them into SAP.
  • Identify and mark all unmarked inventory working via email and phone with A/V.
  • Refill propane tanks for lifts and equipment
  • Assist in moving materials in the layout change in the stockroom, containers, and cage, and chemical storage.
  • Monitor supply levels and advise supervisor.
  • Obtain certipropane-powered certified on propane powered forklift.
  • Offload pallets from flatbeds.
  • Clean and maintain stockroom, containers, cage, and chemical storage.
  • Maintain material master worksheet.
  • Expedite and follow up on open orders.
  • Stage materials for stockroom, containers, cage, and chemical and
  • Learn SAP to replenish stock.
  • Assist in asset management identifying equipment to Finance and obtaining tags.
  • Move identified scrap and schedule pickup.
  • If needed assist with Apple Valley/AZ fleet needs.
  • Assist the Safety Manager with the identification and marking of chemicals in the Chemical location.
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
  • Some facilities support.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience
  • SAP or Ariba experience required.
