Northwest Community Credit Union recently announced plans to pursue a merger with TwinStar Credit Union of Lacey, WA. Investment Services Support Assistant I Wage: $19.47 - $22.14 (dependent upon knowledge, skill, and abilities)

Position Primary Purpose:


Supports the Investment Services department and performs a variety of administrative activities necessary to support the administration and operations of the team. Maintains a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the Investment Services team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides frontline service for the Investment Services department by handling incoming calls from members and future members.
  • Schedules appointments via phone with members and prospects for the Investment Services Advisors.
  • Plans, collaborates and communicates with the Investment Services team to ensure ongoing level of quality appointments are scheduled.
  • Responsible for keeping member files and database systems updated and maintain records, confidential files, imaging client files and other related information for department needs.
  • Administrates CRM system by creating reports and updating member data.
  • Assists Investment Services Director with the tracking and coordination of referrals.
  • Assists Investment Services team with administrative needs and daily tasks.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Previous Experience:

A minimum of one (1) years' experience as an administrative assistant preferred. Credit Union or financial institution experience strongly preferred.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.


Demonstrated Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills. High attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workflow.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement, show initiative and be proactive.
  • High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of credit union services and policies to effectively answer members' questions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team.
  • Must be bondable.
  • Must present a professional, friendly, business like appearance and manner.
