Foundry Technology Engineering (FTE) is part of the Global External Manufacturing and Sourcing group who is responsible for driving external manufacturing technical engagements. As a member of the External IP/EDA Strategy and Enablement team, you will have the opportunity to work with external vendors and cross division partners across Intel. The position requires you to use your IP technical expertise and combine that with Foundry, packaging, ecosystem knowledge and business acumen to drive innovative initiatives.
In this role, responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Coordinate with BUs to align IP strategy and requirements
Perform IP comparisons and provide expert advice to product teams on IP competitiveness
Participate hands-on in system level evaluation studies and pathfinding exercises
Analyze foundry and IP vendor roadmaps to determine product intercepts
Investigate chiplet disaggregation and 3DIC advanced packaging impact on IP design and test
Coordinate IP discussions with vendors to support design approaches for advanced process node pathfinding

Qualifications
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or any STEM related field degree
Candidates should have experience in one of the following:
6+ years of experience in the field of IP design/IP Strategy and Planning
2 years Memory IO expertise
2 years - Supplier or Vendor Management experience
Preferred qualifications:
Master's Degree in any STEM related field with 4+ years of exp in IP design/IP Strategy Planning preferred
IP development or integration experience is a plus
Experienced with analog mixed signal IP, foundational IP, digital IP, cores, and other SoC ingredients.
Ability to understand IP technical requirements and market needs with knowledge of IP or SoC design cycle for various disciplines
Have worked with or ability to understand tool flows and technical requirements for SoC design

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $156,410.00-$250,410.00
- Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
