Elizabeth Layton Center is looking to add to our team. We are searching for an
IT Specialist that will help leadership in meeting the organization's IT needs. This is a
full-time position that primarily operates from
Ottawa, KS but some travel to our other sites in Paola, KS is probable. EOE
Summary:
Most of the IT Specialist's time will be spent responding to requests submitted via our support ticket system, emails, phone calls and in-person visits. The rest of the time will be spent helping to maintain and grow the organization’s technological infrastructure.

Scope of Work:
The IT Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operational activities of the organization from personnel support to network administration to system upgrades.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software, and programming
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Good organization, time management and prioritization skills
- Efficient trouble-shooting abilities
- Great customer service and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the integrity of the network and enforce HIPAA-compliant policies and procedures
- Collaborate with third party IT group in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the business' network and components
- Maintain working components through repair and replacement
- Assist with network and software updates as necessary
- Use a ticketing system to receive staff issues and problems. Respond to staff, diagnose issues, offer solutions and implement changes
- Consult with IT Group, Program Manager(s) and Department Supervisors for issues that require additional assistance as needed.
- Support non-tech savvy staff as they learn and adapt to changing technological needs.
- Support organization data mining needs
- Assists in other clinic activities or clinic-related tasks as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as required.
