Job Description
The IT Systems Analyst II provides technical analysis, installation, maintenance, and modification of systems and various system software. Determines best system software configuration in adherence to established standards ensuring hardware/software compatibility. Evaluates and recommends new system software products. Installs, tests, and implements new system software and manufacturer's maintenance releases and utilities. Analyzes system performance to ensure it is meeting availability and performance objectives. Resolves system and software problems with escalations appropriately as needed. Works with the customer to translate functional needs into technical specs. Develops documentation on system and software specifications and operating instructions in conjunction with associated IT staff.
The Information Technology Department is a 24/7 operational unit. The successful candidate will be required to serve in an on-call status to respond to mission critical issues that may occur after normal business hours and on weekends. Application Special Instructions
