Responsibilities:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• The Laboratory Assistant’s primary responsibility is to assist the professional technical staff with the preparation of specimens, reagent preparation, preparing specimens to be sent to reference labs, and general laboratory work as required
• Follows the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and processing
• Prepares testing reagents and restocks supplies as required
• Assistant in the instrument maintenance and documentation
• Work independently for document planning, review, revision, and finalization.
• Documents are to be completed within a time period that supports project needs and deadlines. Furthermore, documents are to be of high quality and scientifically accurate and are to reflect a consensus among team members that is acceptable to all appropriate reviewers

Background Experience:

• Requires a Bachelor/Master’s degree in a scientific/technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant laboratory technician or research study experience carrying out research
• Must be fluent in English and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Mandarin Speaking preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
