Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of residential installation experience. You will be responsible for the installation of equipment in our client's homes and businesses. This includes high-end audio/video equipment, computer networking, distributed audio, control systems and much more. Must have an aptitude for problem solving and the ability to determine solutions for clients on the job site. You must bring a positive attitude, and most of all pride in your work.

Primary Objective:

Our Lead Technicians primary goal is to take a project and execute the installation. You may be alone, but we primarily work as a team. Our techs are passionate about their craft and technology enthusiasts who combine their obsession of customer service & technical expertise with exceptional craftsmanship to deliver beautiful, reliable, easy-to-use systems for our clients. Working in teams, Lead techs are hands-on self-starters who plan their work, use skill and creativity to solve problems, and deliver client systems on time and on budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute all phases of the installation and configuration of integrated residential & commercial technology systems
  • Under the direction of a project manager or installation manager, complete daily and weekly assignments as planned
  • Manage and train apprentice techs in the field
  • Identify challenges and obstacles early and develop creative solutions to overcome them
  • Accurately update customer records and maintain project logs

  • Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new and existing construction
  • Proficient with hand and power tools used to complete physical
  • Strong desire to continue to learn residential & commercial systems integration including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, security, access control, surveillance, computers & networks
  • Understanding of how high-end electronic equipment and control systems function and how to properly set up, configure, calibrate, and program
  • Proficient understanding of signal flows and control systems for distributed audio, video, home theater systems, access control, conferencing systems, surveillance, lighting control, shade control systems, and the processes utilized to diagnose and troubleshoot problems
  • Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new construction and retrofit projects
  • Proficient with hand and power tools used to complete physical installations of speakers, displays, equipment racks, and ventilation systems
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 70 lbs, work off of a ladder, standing, sitting, walking, bending,
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Patience with dealing with customers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
