Qualifications for Lead Teachers

• Completion of the Early Childhood courses (minimum of 12 college credits)
• Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations
• Ability to pass a background check
• Caring individual who enjoys teaching young children
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Extended periods of time sitting on the floor
• Ability to work a shift in between 7AM - 5:30PM
• Reliable transportation to the Child Care center
• Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents
• Knowledge of DCYF Regulations, Bright Stars, and the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation based upon experience and credentials.

We are currently seeking candidates for a full time lead teacher position in our Preschool Room at our East Greenwich school. This position is Monday thru Friday. All candidates must have 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education and experience working with infants in a childcare setting.

We are offering candidates free childcare for one child until December 31, 2022.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
