Barrier Island Brewing, est. 2019, is the only brewery on Saint Simons Island and boasts an equally exceptional restaurant. Our passion for craft beer, cocktails, and cuisine is a characteristic we encourage in our valued employees and is thoroughly represented in the work we do and relationships we build amongst our staff and customers.
We are seeking help in the kitchen as a line cook or morning prep cook. Experience is preferred, but passion is necessary! Join our team and work in a fast-paced, unique establishment that prides itself on teamwork and strives to put out only the best quality of food and beverage. Applicants with experience at the grill, on the fryer, and/or as an expediter are preferred, but training is available on site.
Preferred Applicants will have:
- 1+ years or restaurant or kitchen experience
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Attention to detail, appreciation of quality, and original ideas
- Desire to learn and positive response to constructive criticism
- ServSafe preferred, but not necessary
