Due to consistent growth, an industry leader is searching for an experienced Logistics Manager to join their 1st shift team in Charlestown, SC.

The Logistics Manager will oversee and direct overall logistics operations within the Carolina region, including both company drivers and independent haulers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for hiring, firing, training, and scheduling of logistics administrative staff.
  • Maintains current knowledge of logistics technology and recommends improvements to Corporate Executive leaders.
  • Oversees and supports onsite dispatch supervisors on staff and operational needs.
  • Identifies inefficiencies in logistics processes; presents and implements solutions to address the issues.
  • Ensures Company is in compliance with all state and federal trucking regulations and maintains all carrier agreement files.

Position Requirements:

  • Ten+ years of experience in logistics, compliance, and fleet maintenance.
  • Four years of experience in managing personnel.
  • Thorough knowledge of federal export regulations and procedures.
  • Proficiency in logistics software
  • CDL preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
