This role will develop innovative and customized marketing strategies and oversee hotel sales and marketing campaigns. You will lead the day-to-day coordination and execution of all assigned hotel and affiliated outlets marketing campaigns, including digital and traditional channels, establishing campaign budgets, monitoring projects and deadlines evaluating each campaign for effectiveness. To ensure consistent messaging, you will collaborate with the Shared Services marketing team, property leaders, vendor partners, free-lance partners and digital agencies frequently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management
- Build relationships with property leaders to anticipate and solve problems and adjust to changing needs.
- Participate in creating annual marketing plans customized to each property.
- Meet with property leaders quarterly to identify goals and objectives and establish campaign scope and budget for ongoing, seasonal, and holiday campaigns.
- Follow up with property leaders regularly regarding due dates and decisions.
- Responsible for assigning and coordinating deliverables to vendor partners to execute a campaign on time and within budget.
- Adapt quickly and effectively to changing hotel and guest needs.
Project and Campaign Management
- Connect strong project management skills with a creative mindset and dynamic approach to execute various tactical and strategic marketing initiatives across channels.
- Manage projects and campaigns from conception to completion, delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Identify and resolve production problems, anticipate issues, and develop contingency plans.
- Oversee each phase to ensure the property teams meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal and external cross-functional teams to move projects forward.
- Ensure the integrity of brand standards and the accuracy of marketing materials.
- Participate in the creation and possible execution of public relations initiatives and activations.
- Evaluate marketing campaigns for effectiveness.
Administration
- Participate in developing and timely distribution of monthly reports explaining the effectiveness of each property marketing campaign and strategies on owned channels and external sources.
- Manage and coach the appropriate and timely responses on third-party platforms, including online directory listings (Google My Business, Yelp, Bing, Trip Advisor, etc.), social media pages, and reservation and delivery app websites.
- Responsible for processing and correctly coding invoices.
- Upload assets into DAM, following protocols including filing naming structure, organization, and approval process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or business.
- Three (3) years of marketing, agency, or project lead experience, preferably in hotels or hospitality venues.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office. Some knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Account Manager, Mail Chimp, and Google Analytics is helpful.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills to manage time and multiple projects effectively.
- A team-oriented quick thinker who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Ability to work on a computer for long periods, maintain digital and physical files appropriately, answer phones, write emails and other correspondence, work effectively in an office environment, and travel (locally) to business units regularly.
- Fully utilize Intelligence Bank, DAM/project management software, and Sage accounting software.
