Title: Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Job Summary:
Lerch Bates’ Marketing & Communications Coordinator is the ideal role for an individual with at least 2 years of marketing & communications experience seeking an opportunity for growth in a fast-paced, evolving work environment. This position will support the Marketing & Communications Department with data mining and analytics research, digital branding management, campaign tactic implementation, graphic design and general team operations leadership. Attention to detail, a design eye and flexibility for tight deadlines are a must. As an employee-owner via Lerch Bates’ Employee Stock Ownership Plan, the ideal candidate will have an ownership mindset with high personal initiative and accountability that requires medium to low daily facilitation from the manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Support the implementation of the company’s brand strategy, especially in the digital space- Provide graphic design services across various tools ranging from InDesign to Microsoft Office
- Co-manage CRM implementation and provide ideas for optimization of CRM as a marketing tool
- Contribute content for thought leadership pieces such as blog posts, white papers and earned media placements, as well as social media posts
- Analyze client behavior and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data; utilize this data to increase web and social traffic and increase brand engagement
- Support administrative and event staff for meetings, events, conferences and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists
- Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to the Marketing & Communications Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field of study preferred- 2+ years of experience in marketing
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities.
- Motivation to collaborate with a diverse, innovative team
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, AP style preferred
- Passion and drive to achieve results
- Self-starter, high-energy, with the ability to execute business objectives
- Prior experience in digital, email and social media marketing, including Google Marketing Platform, Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster, etc.
- Experience working in a software or technology services related company
- Innovative team culture and very collaborative environment
- Familiarity with WordPress CMS
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Deltek and Salesforce
- Working use of InDesign preferred; graphic design experience required
